Lauren Barriball

Lauren is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over five years’ experience working across both NHS and private practice settings.

She has worked with a wide range of people, from those wanting to move without pain again to individuals recovering from surgery and returning to sport. Her experience includes managing knee and shoulder conditions, tendon injuries, post-operative rehabilitation including ACL reconstruction, and more persistent or complex musculoskeletal problems.

Lauren takes a calm, thorough and practical approach to her work. She understands that pain can be frustrating and worrying, particularly when it has been ongoing for some time. Her aim is to ensure patients feel listened to, understand what is happening in their body, and leave each session with a clear plan and renewed confidence.

While reducing pain is important, Lauren focuses strongly on building long-term strength and resilience. Where appropriate, she combines hands-on treatment with progressive rehabilitation to help patients restore function, improve capacity and return to the activities that matter to them.

At Motion Clinic, she enjoys working within a collaborative team environment and guiding patients through a structured pathway from injury towards long-term strength and performance.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys staying active and continues to invest in her professional development to ensure her practice remains up to date and evidence-informed.
